Born and raised in the mountain ranges of the West Coast, Cirstan is a fourth generation trial attorney and the only child of an endurance motorcycle legend. Champion of many causes, she seeks impact litigation on behalf of her clients only when it will deliver recompense not otherwise available by settlement or negotiation.

Appointed Special Counsel to the Chapter 7 Trustee in a U.S. bankruptcy matter in the Northern District of Texas. In RE: the estate of Heri Automotive Inc. Previously a US auto parts distribution company with its parent company/manufacturer in China, Taizhou Heri Autoparts Company Ltd. and its continuing US supply contracts with leading US auto part retailers. Success in uncovering over $128M of fraudulently transferred supply contracts to date.
CDCA litigation in copyright on behalf of BMG vs. Likee App and its parent companies LikeMe/BIGO social media use of copyrighted materials via a claim of indirect and contributory copyright infringement.
CDCA successfully resolved Polish gaming client C.I. Games clearance of their title “Lords of the Fallen” (as well as creative elements within game play) via settlement/ declaratory judgment in Copyright against Warner Brothers Entertainment and New Line Productions' title “Lord of the Rings” to all parties satisfaction.
CDCA discovered and developed evidence of fraudulent transfer in technology case involving theft of trade secrets for the creator economy and its tech stack. Resulting in the court granting an amended complaint on eve of trial and continuation of trial calendar, further affording discovery on a half dozen new claims brought before the court.
Other notable California actions include; successful mediation of a multi-million dollar, three-party commercial landlord/tenant/subtenant dispute, white collar including individual/group and class action, consumer protection, corporate and business litigation, LIBOR manipulation, gold bullion and unregulated metals trading, currency trading, execution of wiretap warrants and monitoring, big pharma (including fentanyl manufacturer Insys Theraputics, Inc.) investigative actions, international collections, auto parts manufacturing and defect litigation (including against Takada Motor Co.), food safety, corporate transactions, fraud, employment, workplace injury (including against Swissport AG LLC), EEOC, title 9 (including against CSULA), privacy, securities, IP, IT & compliance work.
